Accountability
Corrections & Clarifications
If Door & Dwelling gets something wrong, we want to know—and we will correct material errors clearly.
Our corrections process
- We review the exact claim. An editor checks the published language and the evidence supplied.
- We verify independently. When needed, we contact the writer, source or a qualified third party.
- We correct the record. Material factual errors are amended with a dated correction note. Smaller spelling or style fixes may be corrected without a note when meaning is unchanged.
- We preserve transparency. A clarification explains language that was accurate but insufficiently clear; an update identifies substantial new information.
Report a concern
Please include the story URL, the passage in question and reliable supporting evidence. Opinion disagreements are considered, but a correction requires a demonstrable issue of fact, attribution or context.
